It is a universal fact that the mental age of a child almost always corresponds to their physical age. Children must not be pushed too much at the tender age nor should they be deprived of adequate challenge. Such things should better be left to the professionals so that learning becomes a pleasurable and interesting activity. Promotion policy as laid down by the school authority needs to be strictly adhered to. With the available resources, our teachers are doing their best to impart sound education. Almost all those who have been granted admission, irrespective of their prior record on the basis of admission test. We are ready to look at new ideas with an open mind, test and implementing them whenever necessary. Right moral values such as honesty, kindness, tolerance, patience, generosity and aesthetic values have got to be firmly instilled into their minds who will have to venture out into the world where they will be subjected to thousand different experiences. Indiscipline, arrogance and indecorum among students have got to be curbed. This is only possible when the parents have to respect the opinion, professional dignity and judgement of the teachers. If they show disrespect to the teachers how will the children show respect to them? And more important how can these teachers instill those higher values which we all appreciate? No rational thinker can honestly say that academic excellence takes precedence over character building. All is certainly lost when character is lost!
